Kickboxing refers to a group of martial art forms and stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from karate, Muay Thai and western boxing.

The word Kickboxing is from kick & punches and in a technical way we can say that –the kickboxing is combination fight (between two people) of kick & punch in a controlled manner. The true roots of Kickboxing can be traced back to 2000 years to the regions near far-east Asia, where Muay Thai kickboxing was regularly practiced as a self defense discipline.

With foot and hand coordination being an integral part of kickboxing, it cultivates in a person a sense of balance and dexterity. Peter with his intrinsic sense of Zen and equilibrium has integrated kickboxing into fitness programmes to enable his clients to experience not just a form of martial arts but as a manner of attaining a good sense of balance and dexterity as well. Kickboxing is often practiced for self-defense or as a contact sport.
